Donate an Adopt-a-Library
Donate CAI publications to your local library! The Adopt-a-Library program allows sponsors to provide local community libraries with current CAI publications that address a wide variety of homeowner and association board concerns. The tax-deductible cost of the library is only $350; the Foundation for Community Association Research underwrites the remainder. Through this program, the local library receives publications valued at more than $1,500.
Obtaining an Adopt-a-Library for a local area is simple. Just follow these steps:
- Pledge to sponsor a library for $350.
- Locate a local library to accept and display the publications.
- Mail a completed Adopt-a-Library donation form (MS Word) to the Foundation or email the form to foundation(at)caionline.org. The Foundation Executive Committee will review your request.
- The Foundation staff will notify you of the Executive Committee's decision. At that time, if your request is accepted, you will be asked to submit the amount of your sponsorship for the library (if you haven't done so already on the donation form).
- Following the receipt of your credit card information or tax-deductible check, payable to the Foundation for Community Association Research, your designated library will be sent the publications and a model press release. At your request, the library will also be sent stickers with your company name that can be inserted onto each of the library publications.

Generate Positive Publicity
The presentation of Adopt-a-Library publications is an excellent event for local press and the surrounding community. The library sponsor and the CAI chapter gain recognition for the contribution. Photos of Adopt-a-Library presentations have been included in local newspapers and CAI chapter newsletters.
